CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
2 eggs
12 oz. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, salt and soda in small bowl. In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture; stir in chocolate morsels and pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2" apart on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. 6 dozen.
