UKRANIAN PIEROGIES 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. lukewarm water
3 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. American cheese

Combine all ingredients except for mashed potatoes and cheese. Knead into ball. Cover bowl for 10 minutes. Combine potatoes and cheese. Roll out dough. Cut with a glass. Put a tablespoon of filling in center on the sticky side. Press together edges.

Drop into boiling water. Boil over medium heat until they rise to the top. Put on towel to dry. They can also be fried in oil, or in butter with onions.
