GINGERBREAD PEOPLE | |
1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe spice cake mix 2 tsp. ground ginger 2 lg. eggs 1/3 c. Crisco oil 1/3 c. dark molasses 1/2 c. all-purpose flour Dark raisins Combine all ingredients except raisins, in large bowl; mix well (mixture will be soft). Refrigerate 2 hours. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut with 6 inch cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Press raisins in dough for eyes and buttons. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges just to start to brown. Cool several minutes on cookie sheet, then remove to racks to finish cooling. Makes about 14 (6 inch) cookies. |
