CREAM OF CORN SOUP 
2 strips bacon, finely chopped
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion (or 1 tbsp. instant onion)
2 c. frozen corn, partially thawed
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. half and half

Fry finely diced bacon until crisp; add onion and saute until soft. Chop corn in food processor; add to onion and bacon and cook until corn begins to brown. Add butter, flour, milk, salt and pepper; cook over medium heat until thickened. Add half and half and heat until smooth.
