2 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
4 1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
3 tbsp. vanilla
1 lg. Pet milk
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Combine sugar and Pet milk. Bring to a boil (stir often). Boil for 6 minutes (no longer). Remove from burner and stir in chocolate chips, nuts and butter. Stir until mixture starts to thicken. Add vanilla. Pour into 9 x 13 inch buttered pan. (Or if you wish to make it thinner, use cookie sheet.) Let set 5 hours.
