2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 level tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. butter
Plain flour to make a stiff dough

Roll thin. Cut. Sprinkle with sugar. Sometimes I use Crisco; with Crisco use a little salt.
