BAKED CARAMEL CORN 
6 qts. popped popcorn
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter; stir in Karo syrup, brown sugar, and salt. Stir constantly. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Do not stir. Remove from heat. Add soda and vanilla; stir. Quickly pour mixture over popcorn and stir to coat. Spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degrees. Check and stir every 10 minutes. When done, spread on table and break apart. Cool and store in large, covered dish.
