BAKE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
6 qt. popcorn

Melt butter and stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, salt. Heat and stir constantly until it boils. Then cook without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour mixture over popcorn. Mix well. Turn into 2 large shallow baking pans. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely. Break apart.
