1 box yellow cake mix
1 lg. can sliced peaches drained (save cup syrup)
2 tbsp. sugar
Sprinkling of cinnamon
1 stick butter divided in half

Put 1/2 stick butter by thin slices in bottom of a 9x13 inch square pan. Put sliced peaches evenly over butter. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over peaches. Pour reserved peach syrup over all. Sprinkle box of cake mix over all. Dot with remaining 1/2 stick butter.

Bake in 300 degree oven for 1 hour or until crisp and light brown on top. Serve with cheese or Cool Whip or plain hot or cold. Serves 12.
