1 head lettuce, broken
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. English peas, cooked, drained, cooled
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
6 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Imitation bacon bits (optional)

Layer lettuce, celery, green onions, and peas. Mix sour cream, and mayonnaise; spread on top. Cover tightly, chill.
