BAKED EGG CASSEROLE | |
18 slices day old bread 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese 1 c. Velveeta cheese 2 2/3 c.milk 12 eggs 1/4 c. melted butter 2 c. cubed ham 1. Place 9 slices of bread in greased 9 x 13 inch pan; cover with half of cheese. 2. Layer remaining 9 slices of bread and cheese. 3. Beat the eggs. 4. Combine eggs and milk; add ham. 5. Pour mixture over bread and cheese layers. 6. Pour melted butter over entire pan. Cover. 7. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours. 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until firm and golden brown. Yield: 18 servings. |
