“OATMEAL APPLE CRISP” IS IN:

OATMEAL APPLE CRISP 
3 to 4 cups apples, chopped
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Blend well and place in 9x13-inch greased baking dish.

Topping:

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup oatmeal
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

Combine sugar, oatmeal and flour. Into this mixture, cut butter and mix until it becomes crumbly. Spread over the apples.

Bake at 375°F for about 40 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve hot or cool with cream or ice cream.
