CHEDDAR & MUSHROOM BAKED FONDUE 
12 slices white bread
3 tbsp. butter, melted
4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded (1 lb.)
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
Dash of pepper
1/2 c. green pepper, minced
4 eggs
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika

Grease 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Trim crusts from bread and brush slices with butter. Cut each slice in half. Arrange half of bread in one layer in baking dish. Top with half of cheese, mushrooms and green pepper. Repeat layering with remaining bread and cheese.

Mix well eggs, milk and seasonings. Pour into baking dish. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
