STIR FRY 
1 lb. round steak, sliced or uncooked chicken
2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. oil
Broccoli, cut up
1/2 tbsp. sherry or wine
2 tbsp. water
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. ginger

Combine soy sauce, clove garlic, sugar, cornstarch, baking soda and water. Stir in meat and let marinate at least 2 hours. Heat 2 tablespoons oil, stir fry meat until thoroughly cooked. Set aside.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in same pan. Add broccoli and the sherry water and ginger (previously mix these 3). Cover and steam until it is to desired texture. Add meat to warm. Serve with rice.
