BRIAN'S STIR FRY 
2 carrots, sliced thin and diagonally
1/2 head broccoli, chopped thin
1 onion, sliced and halved
8 mushrooms, sliced
1 red bell pepper, halved and sliced
Optional: bean sprouts, pea pods, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts
1/2 to 1 lb. round steak, thinly sliced

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. dry sherry
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. corn starch
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar

Chop vegetables. Slice meat. Mix together sauce ingredients. Put 2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil in wok or skillet on high. Add meat. Stir for 2 minutes. Add carrots, broccoli, and bell pepper. Stir another 2 minutes. Add rest of vegetables and sauce. Stir for another 2 minutes or until done to taste. Serve over rice.
