GOLDEN CAKE BREAD 
Yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. milk, scalded & cooled to lukewarm
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, fork whipped
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
4 - 4 1/2 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in the warm water. Put butter and milk in lukewarm milk. To milk mixture mix in with spoon eggs, vanilla, salt and softened yeast. Slowly add flour, a cup at a time. Mix well between additions. Let rise for 1 hour. Stir down. Let rise 3/4 hour. Divide in half. Roll out. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. Repeat 3 times. Let rise 3/4 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Brush with Basic Butter Frosting.

This is our traditional Christmas morning breakfast. Makes delicious cinnamon rolls you can do the day before.
