BARLEY CASSEROLE 
2 tbsp. butter
1 sm. onion, sliced
2 c. pearl barley
3 (10 1/2 oz.) cans beef broth
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. boiling water

Melt butter, add onion and saute until slightly browned. Add barley and cook and stir until lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients and put into 6 cup casserole. Bake, covered, for 1 1/2 hour or until tender at 350 degrees. Serve with Roast Filet of Beef in Main Dish section.
