PILGRIM PUMPKIN BARS 
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. canned pumpkin
1 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. chopped nuts

FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter
1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 to 1 1/2 tbsp. hot water

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a 9 inch square pan. Beat together eggs, sugars, oil and pumpkin. In a separate bowl mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and nutmeg. Add to egg mixture. Stir well. Mix in raisins and nuts. Pour into pan.

Bake 35 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Spread with frosting. Refrigerate.

BROWNED BUTTER FROSTING:

Melt butter over low heat until light brown. In large bowl beat together powdered sugar, vanilla. Gradually add hot water and beat until smooth then beat in melted butter.
