OLD FASHIONED SWEET POTATO PIE 
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 stick butter, melted
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1 c. coconut, flaked
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Combine eggs, allspice, butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla; mix well. Mix cornstarch in 1/4 cup hot water until smooth.

Add to sweet potatoes and coconut and mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 35-45 minutes longer.
