MULTI-GRAIN BREAD | |
2 yeast cakes (or 2 pkgs. dry) 1/2 c. warm water 1/2 c. oil 1/2 c. honey or molasses 1 tbsp. salt 4 c. water Dissolve yeast in warm water. In large bowl, mix oil, honey, salt and water. Add 4 cups white flour, 1 cup wheat germ and 1 cup soy flour (or white). Stir vigorously for 100 strokes. Then gradually add 4 more cups white flour. Knead in 2 more cups flour for about 10 minutes or until smooth. Let rise until double. Place in 4 or 5 pans. Let rise. Bake in 375 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. |
