CHILI 
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp. oil
6 lg. onions
4 lg. green peppers
1/4 c. chili powder
1 tsp. vinegar
3 dashes cayenne pepper
3 whole cloves
1 bay leaf
Salt
Pepper
3 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
4 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans, drained
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
4 lb. round steak

Mince garlic, saute until golden brown. Saute onions and peppers together in oil; add butter if necessary. Brown the ground round steak. Dump all the cans of tomatoes, paste and beans in large kettle. Add ground beef and seasonings. Add onions and peppers. Cook for 1 hour; if dry, add 1 can tomatoes.
