GRANNY'S BREAD FILLING | |
2 loaves stale bread 3 c. chopped celery 3 c. chopped onions 6 potatoes, cut & boiled Pinch of sugar 2 eggs Salt Pepper Cream Break bread into bowl, add chopped celery and onions. Peel and cut potatoes, cover with water and boil. Do not drain potatoes. Mash with hand masher in the same water. Pour potatoes over bread mixture, stir, add eggs, one slight pinch of sugar, add cream (enough to wet). Stuff turkey or bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
