2 sticks butter
2 c. plain all purpose flour
1/4 c. confectioners' powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Cream sugar and butter. Add flour. Mix well. Add nuts and vanilla. Roll out in small portions the size of a little finger.

Bake at 350 degrees until sand dabs are barely brown. Roll hot in powdered sugar.
