CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. milk

Cream together butter and Crisco; add sugar, then eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and other dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk.

Bake in well-greased and floured tube pan for 80 minutes at 325°F.

Icing:

1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. box 10x powdered sugar
2 sq. Baker's chocolate, melted

Add milk as needed to make smooth.
