1 1/2 c. flour (white or whole wheat pastry)
1 c. honey
3 tbsp. cocoa or carob powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. olive oil (mild)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. water
1 egg (optional)

Stir and mix with electric mixer and bake at 350 degrees in ungreased 9 x 13 inch baking pan, 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with fruit, applesauce, or thickened cream with yogurt.
