CHEESY GRIT CASSEROLE 
1 box instant grits
8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 clove of garlic
Hot sauce
1 egg, slightly beaten

Cook grits as directed. Pour in casserole dish and add garlic, egg and stir in cheese and couple drops of hot sauce (more if desired). Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Freezes well and a good brunch dish.
