GRANDMA'S CORNISH PASTY 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
2/3 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
Ice water to moisten (about 6 tbsp.)

FILLING:

1 lb. ground beef
2 med. onions, chopped
5 med. potatoes, peeled and cubed
Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare crust and divide in half. Roll half into large oval. Spread 1/4 of potatoes down center and top with 1/4 of ground beef and sprinkle with 1/4 of onions, add salt and pepper. Repeat for second layer and add more salt and pepper, if desired. Fold ends of crust up and then lap sides over and seal at the top. Prick top with fork. Make second pasty using rest of ingredients. Bake on baking sheet 1 hour at 350 degrees.
