PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 c. crushed pretzels 2/3 c. melted butter 3 tbsp. sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 c. powdered sugar 1/2 container Cool Whip (lg. size) 2 c. boiling water 1 lg. strawberry Jello 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries Mix pretzels, melted butter and sugar. Press in a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip. Spread over crust. Mix boiling water, Jello and strawberries. Let Jello mixture set until almost firm. Pour onto the top of the cream cheese mixture. Let firm up. Put remaining Cool Whip on top. Cool to set. May garnish with extra pretzel crumbs or strawberries. |
