CHEWY CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
3 (6 oz.) pkgs. unsweetened chocolate baking bars
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. walnuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small saucepan, combine butter and chocolate bars. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat; cool 10 minutes. In large mixer bowl, beat sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt. Stir in chocolate mixture. Gradually add flour. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into 2-inch squares.
