Freezer Slaw - Recipe

FREEZER SLAW

1 med. head cabbage
1 tbsp. salt

Let stand 1 hour. Drain well.

1 carrot, grated
1 mango, finely chopped

SYRUP:

1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed

Mix and boil 1 minute. Cool to lukewarm.

Pour over cabbage. Cool. Pack in freezer boxes.
