MUSTARD BEANS | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. cider vinegar 3 tbsp. prepared mustard 1/2 tsp. instant minced onion 1/4 tsp. salt 1 (1 lb.) can yellow wax beans, drained Combine all ingredients except beans; bring to boiling point, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add beans; simmer uncovered 5 minutes. Cool. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Makes 1 pint. Serve as relish, meat accompaniment, or salad ingredients. |
