OVERNIGHT COFFEE CAKE | |
2/3 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1/3 c. brown sugar 2 eggs, beaten 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. buttermilk TOPPING: 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. nuts, chopped 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Cream together first 3 ingredients. Add beaten eggs and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into a buttered 13 x 9 inch pan. Prepare topping and sprinkle evenly over batter. Keep in refrigerator overnight. Bake next morning at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. |
