3 eggs
1 lb. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla
1 lb. butter
6 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. chocolate chips
Nuts to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs 4-5 minutes. Add sugars, vanilla and butter and mix well.

In separate bowl mix flour, salt and soda. Add to egg mixture. Stir in chips and nuts (if desired).

Line cookie sheets with wax paper. Drop batter by ice cream scoop. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes while on cookie sheet.
