CARAMEL FROSTING 
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 stick butter

Combine all ingredients in heavy saucepan. Gradually bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil until mixture reaches soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Cool slightly. Beat (may use mixer) until spreading consistency.
