WANDA'S CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. warm water

Mix the first 5 ingredients. Dissolve soda in warm water and add flour. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

FROSTING:

6 tbsp. butter
1 egg yolk
3 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tbsp. hot coffee

Cream butter, blend in egg yolk. Sift sugar and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture and hot coffee alternately with coffee and creamed mixture.
