BRANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar

Mix together. Stir in 1 cup water. Cook until clear. Stir in:

1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. brandy

Place 1 large can yams in buttered baking dish. Pour sauce over yams. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees, basting occasionally. Sprinkle top with miniature marshmallows. Broil until golden.
