MOIST MEATLOAF
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
4 slices bread
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. black pepper or to taste
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt or to taste
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (15 oz.) can Hunt's Italian style tomato sauce (save about 1/4 of this for top)
1 med. onion, chopped
Several half slices of bacon

Use food processor to crumb the bread. Add eggs, pepper, garlic salt, salt, most of the Italian style sauce, and onion. Mix together with processor.

In large bowl mix beef and pork. Add processed mixture to bowl and mix into meats. Spray baking pan with PAM if desired. Pat meatloaf mixture into pan (I use a quart Corning Ware dish) almost to all edges. Spread remaining tomato sauce on top; cover with bacon half-slices.

Bake until juicy and done. Drain off some of greases before serving. NOTE: I often substitute Prego spaghetti sauce for the topping. Bake in 375 degree oven for 50-60 minutes.
