RUM BAKED ACORNS 
1 med. acorn squash
2 tsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. butter
2 tsp. dark rum
Salt & pepper

Cut squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Place cut side up in lightly greased baking dish. In seed cavity of each half place 1 teaspoon each butter, brown sugar and rum. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover baking dish tightly with foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Can also cook in microwave. Cover with waxed paper and cook on high 15 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
