HAMBURGER POT PIE 
1 lb. ground beef, cook with 1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (15 to 16 oz.) can green beans, drained
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup

Brown hamburger with onions, drain. Stir remaining ingredients into hamburger and pour into a pie plate that has already been lined with a crust. Place top crust over pie filling. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

PIE CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
4 tbsp. milk

Mix the flour and salt; blend the shortening into it with a fork. Add milk and mix completely. Roll out in shape of pie plate on a lightly floured surface. Double recipe for hamburger pie and divide into 2 circles and then roll out each.
