FREEZER STRAWBERRY PRESERVES 
4 c. fresh strawberries (sliced or whole)
4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Wash strawberries, then cap them so they do not loose their color. Combine berries and 2 cups of sugar. Bring to boil and add the other 2 cups sugar and lemon juice. Boil 20 minutes over medium heat. Remove from heat and let cool. Spoon into jars and seal. Store in freezer. Will keep for months. Also makes a delicious topping for ice cream or plain cake.
