CORN BREAD 
2 c. stone-ground cornmeal
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. honey
1/4 c. oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan. Mix cornmeal, baking powder and salt thoroughly. Mix egg, milk, honey and oil. Add to cornmeal mixture. Stir only until dry ingredients are moistened. Batter will be lumpy. Pour into pan. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

NOTE: Degerminated cornmeal may be used in place of stone-ground cornmeal.
