CARAMEL DUMPLINGS 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/8 tsp. salt
Simmer the above

Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Add milk and vanilla. Mix well and drop by teaspoons into caramel sauce. Drop dough into caramel sauce. Cover and cook 20 minutes.
