GHIRARDELLI CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped nuts
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips (Ghirardelli)

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In large bowl, cream butter with sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir flour with baking soda and salt; gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 9 to 11 minutes.
