MINI PECAN PIES 
Pastry:
1 pkg. ( 3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 c, sifted flour

Filling:1 eggDash of salt3/4 c. brown sugar1 tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla3/4 c. pecans, chopped:

Allow cream cheese and butter to soften at room temperature. Cream, add flour. Chill for 1 hour. Shape pastry into 24 one inch balls. Place a ball in each of 24 small ungreased muffin tins and press dough to the bottom and sides of the cups. Combine ingredients for filling. Fill each pastry lined cup 3/4 full. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. cool. Remove carefully from pans. 24 servings.
