MERINGUE COOKIES 
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts or chocolate bits

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until peaks form. Add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and drop by teaspoons onto greased baking pan. Bake 30 minutes, 300 degree F. oven.
