APPLESAUCE CAKE 
6 tbsp reduced calorie butter, softened
Liquid sugar substitute to equal 1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. cold unsweetened applesauce
2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 egg. beaten
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
6 tbsp. raisins
6 sm. walnuts, chopped

1. Cream butter with sugar substitute.

2. Combine soda and applesauce, and add to butter mixture.

3. Add remaining ingredients; stir just until blended. (Do not overmix).

4. Pour into nonstick 7 x 11 inch baking pan.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

6. When cake is cool, cut into 15 equal pieces.
