ICE CREAM CRISPIES 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped
1/2 c. coconut
1 1/4 c. Rice Krispies
1 qt. vanilla ice cream

Mix butter, nuts, coconut and Rice Krispies together. Toast in pan in 300 degree oven for 30 minutes. Line pan with mixture, but save some for topping. Cut ice cream into 1 1/4 inch slices. Place over mixture and sprinkle with topping. Freeze until firm.
