TOMATO SOUP CAKE | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. shortening 1 c. tomato soup 1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in soup 2 c. flour 1 tsp. each cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. raisins or dates or nuts (if desired) Mix well. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan. CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, room temperature 1 tsp. vanilla Mix until creamy. Don't use an electric mixer. |
