WHITE BROWNIES 
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp. water
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. chocolate chips

MERINGUE:

1 c. brown sugar
3 egg whites

Using a spoon, mix together the shortening and the sugars. Slowly add flour and other dry ingredients. Add egg yolks, water and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Press mix into 9x14 inch cookie sheet. Spread chocolate chips on top of spread. Beat egg whites until stiff, add sugar, spread over mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. 16 servings.
