CHESS PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. cornmeal
1 stick butter (soft)
1 unbaked, 9-inch pie shell

Preheat oven to 400°F. Beat eggs and sugar together, add next four ingredients and beat well. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake in 400°F oven for 10 minutes. Then reduce heat to 325°F and bake 25 minutes longer.
